Weezy F. Baby

Lil' Wayne was spectacular. The rapper brought his A-game and gave a thrilling live performance. Those fans who missed one of the London shows will be killing themselves as this gig showed exactly why Weezy is at the top of his game and going hard.

Listening to him live has now made him sound even better when hearing him recorded. His rendition of '3 Peat' was remarkably emotional and his whole performance seemed exceptionally committed.







As you can see here, even the light show was top class. The support from Young Money Entertainment (Weezy's company) was also epic. Jae Millz, Mack Maine, Guddha Guddha, Birdman and Shanell were all on top form. Even the DJ, 4 Over 5, was noticibly good.

This leads me to salute the British support act, Master Shortie. I had never heard of him until the gig but checked him out after his energetic performance and ended up buying his album

For me this gig has made Lil' Wayne iconic. He has so much potential and with that comes the chance to let fans down. He made a speech and thanked all of his fans and showed he values the support. This guys the real deal, the 'Best Rapper Alive'.

Yaaaaa Digggggg?

How far would you go to see an artist that you think is one of the biggest influences since the turn of the millenium?

Well, while London may not be a globe trotting flight away its still a 6 hour coach ride there and 7 hour 1am-7am coach ride back. But, oh lord should it be worth it.

Young Money have been confirmed as support, this means (hopefully) Drake will be making an appearance. This is almost as big as Lil' Wayne himself.

So, if Atem and I make it to London without killing ourselves or each other we will be able to see the 'Greatest Rapper Alive'. That however, presents it's own problems. Lil' Wayne's fan base spans from the darkest ghetto hoodlums to the cocaine-rich elite. Therefore, we'll either get stabbed up for our phones or shot for disrespecting someones personal space...
